MDC closing down offices temporarily over COVID-19 concerns

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - The Missouri Department of Conservation has closed it's St. Joseph and Chillicothe offices to the public due because of COVID-19 concerns.

According to an email, the MDC will re-evaluate the situation for the northwest Missouri region later this month. If things improve, offices could reopen next month.

Until then, MDC staff are able to answer phone calls to those offices. Also, the M-D-C's conservation areas remain open for public use.
